Privacy Policy – Slipr App
Slipr (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here. In this policy "receipt data" refers to the images of receipts and the resulting generated data after processing.
Image Data: The app allows you to use your device’s camera to capture images of receipts. Images of receipts can also be retrieved from the device image gallery via the app.
Generated Data: Receipt images are processed by a third-party tool to create a digital list of items and metadata.
Personal Information: We do not collect or store personal information or direct personal identifiers. The receipt data is anonymised: a unique User ID is generated upon installation of the app, which is used as a means to link the user to associated receipt data only. This User ID is not used for any tracking or targeted advertising.
Coarse Location Information: the country is attained for app functionality and localisation.
Usage Data: we collect performance, crash and interaction data to enable us to improve the product.
We do not use your personal data.
Anonymised receipt data is used to provide core app functionality, and we may choose to use this data for other purposes, or to develop future app features of functionality.
We use trusted third-party service providers for image processing, data storage and app functionality. No personal information is shared with third-party service providers.
You have access only to the receipt data that you personally generate, or is shared directly with you by other users.
Slipr does not sell or share your personal information with advertisers or other external parties.
We reserve the right to access the anonymised receipt data.
By using the app, you automatically consent to the collection, processing, usage and storage of your receipt data as described in this policy.
Receipt data is stored securely in the cloud and we will retain this data unless deletion is specifically requested.
You may request deletion of your User ID, individual receipt data and associated links to any other receipt data from our cloud services at any time by contacting us at support@slipr.tech. Due to the nature of the app and the inherent ability to share receipts with other users, there may be some cases where only un-linking and deleting your User ID from shared receipts is possible.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption and restricted access controls.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at the same URL.
